Children’s workshop – 3D animation

Times: 8.45 am to 12.00 pm and 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm
Cost: €350 incl. VAT (€380 incl. VAT with the option of childcare during the lunch break)

Give your child the chance to immerse themselves in the art of animation, alongside an artist and other participants of their own age. This course combines a visit to an exhibition, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Cité, an introduction to stop-motion animation techniques, and the opportunity to create, step by step, a collaborative animated short film.

Provisional course programme*:
Monday: Introduction to animation and scriptwriting
Tuesday: Making characters and sets, visit to an exhibition at the Cité
Wednesday: Finalising the craftwork and production. Visit to an exhibition and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Cité.
Thursday: Post-production, sound effects and editing
Friday: Exploring other animation techniques and a screening for families followed by a snack
