Ankama, from Sketch to Saga, 25 Years of Creation
A retrospective exhibition of the Roubaix-based entertainment company's 25-year history. It has established itself as one of the leading names in animation and gaming in France.
Thanks to the DOFUS video game's blinding success in 2004, the company was able to open a publishing house followed by an animation studio. Subsequently, the DOFUS universe, the Krosmoz, broke the boundaries of video games to become a transmedia phenomenon.
The exhibition chronicles the journey of the DOFUS game, the WAKFU television series and the new WAVEN project through a plethora of graphic material, never-before-seen videos and numerous objects from the Ankamian imagination.
Take a deep dive into this transmedia art marvel and explore the origins of the mythological forms and narratives of our contemporary worlds.
