Gremlins

Rand Peltzer is a hapless inventor who struggles to provide for his family. But to celebrate Christmas in style, he wants to find the perfect present for his son Billy. Whilst on a business trip to the heart of Chinatown, he discovers a Mogwai – a little fur ball with a mesmerising song – tucked away in the corner of a strange shop. After some tough haggling, he takes the adorable creature home with him and names it Gizmo.

However, before handing him over, the Mogwai’s former owner warns him of three rules he must follow: never expose it to light, keep it away from water, and above all, never, under any circumstances, feed it after midnight. Young Billy immediately falls under the spell of his new friend, but without realising the responsibility that has just been entrusted to him…
