Ticketing Service

Where can I purchase my ticket on site at the Cité?
To purchase your tickets on site, please go directly to the Reception – Ticket Office located in the C building.

Which entrance should I use if I have purchased my tickets online?
If you have purchased your tickets online, you can either go to the reception (C building) for any further information or head directly to the relevant building: to the Musée (D building), to the Manège for the Major Exhibition (E building), to the Galerie (F building) or to the Cinéma de la Cité (F building).

Can I purchase a ticket on site on the day? 
You can purchase your tickets on the day, subject to availability. As some time slots may be fully booked, we do recommend planning your visit in advance.

Is it easy to purchase tickets online? Do I need to print the admission ticket?
Yes! Online purchases are quick and easy. Once you have purchased your ticket, you can show it directly on your smartphone: you don't need to print it.

I made an online purchase but haven't received any confirmation or any tickets. What should I do?
If you haven't received your confirmation or tickets, please check your junk mail (spam) folder.
If you still can't locate the message, please contact us by phone or email: our team will be more than happy to help you find your order.

Can I change, cancel or get a refund for my reservation? 
Tickets for exhibitions and workshops can be changed but not cancelled or refunded.
Film screenings can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 20 minutes before the start of the screening.

How much time do I need to visit the various cultural events at the Cité?
Musée du cinéma d'animation: approximately 1 hour
Manège: approximately 1 hour
Galerie: approximately 45 min

Do you do guided tours?
Yes, guided tours are available in French and English. There are regular tours, especially on weekends.
Please check our calendar or ask at reception for the schedule.

Do you have audio tours?
Yes, audio guides are available for the Major Exhibition held in the Manège.
Please ask at reception for further information (languages, how they work).

Is there a café serving snacks on site?
There is a kiosk selling drinks and confectionery available near the cinema during screenings.
In addition, a Boutique-café will open in the autumn and will offer a selection of light refreshments.

Families

Are there activities for children?
Yes, there are workshops, guided tours, screenings and events organised for children of all ages. Further details can be found in the descriptions of the different activities.

Are pushchairs allowed in the Cité? 
Yes, pushchairs are allowed inside the Cité.

Is there a baby changing facility? 
Some toilets are equipped with changing tables; please feel free to ask at reception for further details.

My child is registered for a workshop or a course, can I stay with them?
Workshops and courses are generally organised for children to attend independently. Therefore, accompanying adults are not expected to stay, except when activities are explicitly labelled for "families" or "parents and children".

Visitor Regulations

Are there storage lockers available?
There are storage lockers available at reception where you can securely leave your personal belongings free of charge, subject to availability.

Am I allowed to take photos?
Photography without a flash is permitted for private use, unless otherwise stated. 
Any professional, commercial or media use must be authorised in advance.

Is it OK to bring luggage?
Large bags, luggage and any bulky items are not permitted in the various visitor areas.

Are you allowed to eat or drink inside the buildings?
Food and drink are not permitted inside the buildings, except in designated areas (the Shop-Café and the Comptoir du Ciné).

Are animals allowed in the Cité?
Pets are not permitted, apart from guide dogs or assistance dogs.
